Easter Holiday beckons with Newcastle University Conference, Scottish Parliamentary Elections and Hibs in Scottish Cup Semi Final

I am off to Edinburgh again on Wednesday for the Easter break. I have OSC tonight with me leading on the 2 Scrutiny reports from the committee I chair on Bullying at School and the Appointment of School Governors.
We are getting the latest Camberwell Rose Newsletter out and said farewell to Allen Russell from the D'Eynesford who leaves for a new life in Bedford.

I am trying to contact the local Labour Party in Edinburgh as I hope to get involved in the Campaign when I am up there. I have never been involved in a Scottish election so I would love to get involved! I still cant believe that the Nationalists are ahead in the Polls as independance for Scotland , and even the threat of a referendum, would be disasterous for the Scottish ecomony so I hope that Scots see sense by Election day!!

On the way back to London I will be stopping off at the Sage Centre in Gateshead for the University Safety and Health Association Conference at Newcastle University which I always find enjoyable to network with colleagues and friends for 3 days!

Hibs also play Dunfermline at Hampden in the Scottish Cup Semi Final. We have one Cup already now we need to get through to the Final for a play in Europe and another crack at the big one!
The Scottish Cup - last won by Hibs over 100 years ago!!!! Can it happen this year??? Doing the doublew really would make it one of the best years for Hibs ever but it's Dunfermline first!!!!
